Vocals - Max AndrewsBrought up on popular music and opera by my early teens I strived for something different to enjoy and found ROCK!!!. Zeppelin was a massive influence on me. Hendrix , Floyd and by the Grunge movement in the early 90's I became fully hooked. Bands like Metalica, Rage Against the Machine, Chilli Peppers, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots and Faith No More helped fuel my influences further. At this time I started playing in my first band doing covers of the above named in 96/97 but didn't really take it seriously as a career until 2000 . In 2003 I started my own original outfit SIZEN and after a few line-up changes along the way SIZEN is now a seasoned band with cutting edge material and looking forward to a growing fan base and successful career within the industry and with a dream to tour the world... Gear used - Audix mics and TC vocal FX |

Bass - Dan SmithIt all started way back when I first heard Steve Harris (Iron Maiden) on the "big guitar with 4 strings". I had to get one. Then I was exposed to Cliff Burton (Metallica). since then I've been a single minded musician trying to force my way on to the local music scene with a very alternative way of looking at things. My influences include, Primus, Chillis, Stan Clarke, Faith No More etc. After playing in countless small time bands I met Max and joined SIZEN. With my brother Loz on board we've started to hone our craft as a pro unit. Watch this space. Gear Used - Warwick Basses, David Eden Amps and Cabs. |

Drums - Loz SmithIt's kind of strange how I became a drummer considering how from an early age I dreamt of becoming a guitarist. But for some reason I just couldn't find the motivation to learn. So instead I would sit around watching my brother and fellow musicians, jamming and writing tunes, mesmerised by it all. Still wanting to learn an instrument my brother suggested the drums, so I learnt basic rhythms on a very old borrowed kit. I was initially inspired by Chad Smith, closely followed by Tim Alexander, amazed by what these guys could do with a drum kit. I started jamming with my brother and numerous guitarists until thrown into the deep end for a gig with covers band Black Satin when their drummer wasn't available. From then on performing became a passion and I continued to play with them until I joined Hertfordshire based covers band Burn One Down, before moving on to SIZEN. I had finally found the progressive sound I longed to be part of with three other guys driven by only the passion for music and the will to succeed. My main influences include, Chillis, Primus, Incubus, Led Zeppelin, to name a few. Gear Used - DW Collector Series Drums, Sabian & Zildjian Cymbals, Tama Iron Cobra Pedals, Zildjian Sticks. |

Guitar - DudleyBeing brought up by a family of musicians it was a natural progression for me to learn an instrument. I started to learn the cello at a very young age and although I enjoyed it I wanted to get my hands on an electric guitar. It wasn’t until I was sixteen that I was allowed one.. When I finally got one I never put it down and it would be fair to say I became obsessed! After years studying the guitar and playing around the country I landed a dream studio job after legengadary producer Chris Tsangarides (Thin Lizzy, Yngwie Malmsteen & Judas Priest) heard me play and decided I’d be the man for an album he was working on. This was a turning point in my career and shortly after I was very fortunate enough to become endorsed by Vigier Guitars and WKZ Amps. I am true music fan and love jazz through to metal and this is something I hope to reflect in my playing. Players/bands like Jeff Beck, Metallica, Pantera, Steve Vai, Mike Stern, Alice In Chains, Pat Metheny, Dave Matthews Band and SRV are a few guys who I owe a lot to. I proudly use Vigier Guitars & WKZ Amps. |
